BR8HIX Iridium plug from the NGK brand suitable for various moped engines.
Iridium spark plugs have an iridium alloy tip on the center electrode.
The precious metal iridium only melts at 2450°C and is therefore highly resistant to spark erosion. The service life of these candles is twice as long as that of conventional spark plugs.
The 0.6 mm thick center electrode significantly reduces the ignition voltage requirement and contributes to an improved spread of the flame front in the combustion chamber.
Application in souped-up engines, or when using an electronic ignition system.
