Presto Epoxy Rust Converter Spray 150 ml

Special rust conversion spray to combat surface rust and as a primer for your moped, moped or small motorcycle.

This rust primer serves as a rust remover and primer for surfaces to be painted in a single operation. Together with the rust present on the surface, the epoxy resin-based anti-rust spray forms a metallic-organic iron complex, which provides an ideal basis for subsequent painting. The black rust protection primer is suitable for all rusted steel surfaces and offers long-lasting protection against renewed corrosion.

Properties:

• Rust is converted into water-insoluble, black, organic iron complexes. This iron complex compound is stabilized by a special epoxy resin, whereby the iron is protected from external influences

Application:

• Remove loose rust, grease, dirt and paint residues infiltrated with rust, brush off if necessary.
• Shake the can for approx. 2 minutes before use.
• Apply 3 - 4 coats depending on the degree of rust.
• Sprinkling distance approx. 25 cm.
• Can be painted over after approx. 6 hours, depending on the outside temperature.
• Additional stoving makes the protective layer particularly resistant to water, salt water and solvents. Allow the sprayed-on layer to dry for approx. 15 minutes, then bake: 15 minutes at 160 °C.
