High-end racing clutch suitable for your manual Sachs moped / moped with 503 engine.
The specially designed 4-plate clutch is the non-plus-ultra when it comes to transmitting high power in your Sachs engine.
The four clutch plates mean that an enormous amount more torque can actually be transmitted. As the power is transmitted with less spring force, the clutch is also gentle on other components, making your engine more durable. The clutch basket is made of CNC-machined steel and offers more mass, which has a positive effect on heat resistance, as well as a lower load on the basket, as the steel plates have eight instead of six driver arms. The driver inside is now larger and has several oil holes. In addition, the narrower clutch linings result in faster and better oil displacement.
The compact design means that the clutch can be installed on the Sachs 503 engine without any modifications. To install the high-performance clutch on a 50/2, 50/3, 50/4 engine, a spacer for the gearbox cover must be installed.
We recommend using the clutch with 12 standard springs.
There are three different clutch plates with different properties for the tuning clutch.
- Stage 1 paper (gray): no wear of the steel plates, rather soft clutch behavior
- Stage 2 cork-rubber (red): little wear of the steel plates, sporty ¨bertragungsleistung
- Stage 3 sintered technology (grün): Increased wear of the steel plates, uncompromising transmission performance
