Flexible honing brush for fine honing of cast iron, cast steel and cylinders with Nikasil coating. The honing brush (Flex-Hon) is clamped in the hand drill and the typical honing pattern is created by moving it back and forth by hand. This restructures the surface and the honing marks provide the necessary oil adhesion. Fine honing is particularly useful when installing new piston rings or a new piston. Before use, the brush should be lubricated with conventional 2-stroke oil to counteract wear.
