Loctite 242 is an oil- and waterproof medium-strength screw connection, suitable for all metal threaded connections subject to vibration and impact.
Also suitable for passive materials such as aluminium, stainless and galvanized steel. Prevents loosening due to vibration on stud bolts, gears, motors, etc. The connections can be removed with normal tools.
