Tuning cylinder for your moped / moped with blown Sachs 503 engines (503 2AL, AAL, 2BL, ABL CH).
This 40 mm racing cylinder is visually indistinguishable from the original cylinder when fitted.
The following details have been adapted for this cylinder:
- The intake window has been enlarged to achieve better timing and greater intake volume
- Lubrication holes on the piston to the piston pin
- The inner surfaces on the piston have been milled flat for clean guidance of the connecting rod bearing
- The piston skirt has been optimized
- Larger and stricter piston skirt;
- the intake angles of the exhaust ports have been adjusted
- the angle and proportions of the exhaust port have been adjusted
The racing kit has good power delivery in both the lower and upper rev ranges due to the high torque.The entire cylinder is made of high-quality cast aluminum. The running surface is provided with a Nikasil coating. This results in smooth running, optimum heat dissipation and a long service life.
All sealing and connection surfaces have been precisely machined flat. The threaded stud bolts supplied are used to attach the cylinder head (4 M6x36) and intake manifold (2 M6x27). Threaded holes in aluminum cannot withstand repeated assembly and disassembly. For this reason, the stud bolts should be firmly glued into the cylinder with Loctite.
To get the full power out of the tuning cylinder, we recommend installing the tuning add-on parts specially developed for this cylinder.spark plug
Swiing recommends using semi-synthetic 2-stroke &oum;l for the running-in process. In addition, the cylinder kit comes with detailed installation instructions and instructions for use.
Caution:
For Sachs 503 ABL engines, the engine housing must be ground out slightly in the area of the cylinder neck.
