Our story is characterised by passion, courage and hard work. And modesty. Our success story began in his parents‘ garage, where Marc Zürcher spent evenings tinkering with his own moped and his first customers’ bargains.

What was still a hobby in 2010 has now grown into an established trading company in the Swiss moped scene: With over 13,000 items available from stock, mofakult offers its discerning customers the most comprehensive range of products relating to the moped cult of the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Own brands

To keep the legend alive, we develop our own and discontinued parts under the swiing® and enrich the spare parts market with sleek custom parts under the name 66HEROES. We also serve our customers under the brand GPO – GOOD PARTS ONLY with a wide range of high-quality standard moped spare parts.

Iconic lifestyle!

But you can't create a cult just by trading in parts. We also sell fairly produced clothing and accessories for hot rides under the Mofakultwear label. A brand that has recognised and celebrates the luxury of the slow lifestyle. We have items of clothing from shirts to hoodies manufactured in Europe, because moped riders prefer short delivery routes.

Aesthetic, original or classic!

We have also created the most popular 2-stroke calendar in Switzerland with the Mofakalender – a bold and stylish workshop calendar decorated with the country's most beautiful mopeds and most charming female moped riders. A classic par excellence in every moped workshop.

Out into the whole world!

By creating a YouTube channel to publicly express our enthusiasm for old 2-strokes, we now inspire over 60,000 subscribers. In 2021, we created another channel, mofakult Tutorials, where we provide expertly explained instructions to follow at home.

New headquarters.

In August 2018, we moved into our own dispatch hall with offices and have been shipping moped spare parts from our Frauenfeld site to the rest of the world at full speed ever since. Our new packing line enables us to prepare orders for dispatch even more efficiently.

Around the world on a moped!

Maggie approached us with this adventurous idea and it fell on fertile ground. After months of intensive preparations, the lively Austrian set off to discover the world on her customised travel moped ‘Sunny’ at the beginning of August 2019. However, like so many things that were brought to a halt during the pandemic, Maggie also had to end her round-the-world trip project ‘Maggie's Miles’ after just 16 months.

What Marc Zürcher has managed alone for years can now only be driven by a well-coordinated team. In addition to the mofaspirit, the mofakult family is united by one thing above all: The urge to make a difference.
