A passion for sports exhausts and silencers
SITO Gruppo Industriale S.p.A. is a company steeped in tradition that was founded in 1954 in Turin, Italy, by Peitro Mollo. From the very beginning, the company focussed passionately on the production of exhausts for mopeds and larger motorbikes. The Italians soon became one of the most important manufacturers of exhaust systems in Europe. The Italian company is also traditionally involved in various racing series. Prominent examples of the co-operation with renowned racing teams are the partnerships with the Cagiva brand in 1988 in the MotoGP 125cc class or with Suzuki in the British Superstock Championship. Due to interim financial problems, the company went into voluntary liquidation in 2013, but found a new investor in 2014. Fortunately, this has made it possible for the traditional Sito company to sell first-class exhausts again today. Annual production currently stands at around 500,000 units, which are manufactured for the European and international OEM and aftermarket.
