Pinasco «Slave» engine case with crankshaft (46 mm stroke / 12 mm KoBo) and double intake suitable for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, Boxer, Grillo moped / moped.
The Pinasco «Power Casing» engine case is supplied with a crankshaft specially developed for this purpose, which has a wide cheek for controlling the intake.
A standard 13 mm Dellorto SHA carburettor can be fitted to the rear of this case, as well as any side-mounted carburettor with a 24 mm connection on the diaphragm system. The frame may have to be adapted in this case.
With this dual carburetor system, you can tease the last bit of horsepower out of your racing car.
The following parts are included in the scope of delivery:
- Rear intake flange (connection diameter: 16 mm, Ø inside: 13 mm)
- Side membrane system incl. sealing plug for the 13 mm flange if this is not used
- Mounting material for diaphragm flange (connection diameter: 24 mm, Ø inside: 20 mm)
- Cylinder stud bolt
- Engine housing (Ø for cylinder neck up to 50.7 mm)
- Engine housing screws
- Crankshaft Pinasco Competition with 46 mm stroke and 12 mm piston pin (axe 12)
- Installation instructions in English & Italian
No housing seal is supplied. Sealing compound is used for sealing
We recommend using the 46 mm Pinasco cylinder kit for this racing gear. In addition, only electronic ignitions can be fitted to this housing.
Installation instructions:
- When using the crankshaft with 46 mm stroke, the housing must be slightly recessed inside so that the connecting rod does not protrude
- The cylinder must be raised by approx. 1.5 mm due to the higher stroke. We recommend checking the crushing edge before commissioning. This should be 0.8 - 1.0 mm.
- If the engine is installed in a Piaggio Ciao frame, some material must be removed from the right-hand side of the housing and cylinder. This process is described in the assembly instructions .
